Description: Beth El Hebrew Congregation, a Reform Congregation in Northern Virginia, has teaching positions open in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades in Judaic studies. Second and third grade classes are held on Sundays from 10am until noon. Fifth grade classes are held on Wednesdays from 6:16-8pm and on Sundays from 10am until noon. Occasional faculty meetings will be held on Sundays after school. Second and third grades focus on holidays and biblical history. Second grade teacher needs background in beginning Hebrew. Fifth grade focus is on history of Ancient and Modern Israel. Applicants should have experience with interactive teaching. Beth El utilizes state of the art education technology and cherishes creative and energetic Jewish Educators.
