Well thought out curriculum helps children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Our program allows children to learn by exploring, experimenting, and observing, while building a strong foundation in their Jewish identity through blessings, music, activities, and stories. We are seeking an early childhood Teacher Assistant for the 2010-2011 school year. This position is part-time, 3 days per week, 8:45-1:30. Qualifications: The person must have experience working with preschool children. A knowledge of Jewish practices and traditions would be helpful but not required. Assists in providing an environment of creativity for our early childhood program. Wants to collaborate with colleagues on emerging early childhood trends. NVHC is an egalitarian Reform synagogue that celebrates tradition while making Judaism relevant in today's busy Northern Virginia lives.
