Description: Beth El Hebrew Congregation in Alexandria, Virginia, seeks an enthusiastic part-time (approximately 20 hours per month) Teen Coordinator beginning in August, 2010. The Teen Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing social (including BEFTY-Beth El Federation of Temple Youth) and/or community service events for approximately 100 students in grades 9-12, managing the teen youth activity program budget. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, have experience organizing events for Jewish youth, be able to be at the Temple one Sunday morning a month, and be a visible, motivating presence in the Temple community. Teen Coordinator will interface with Youth Advisor.
