Description: JSSA, a fast growing non-profit/nonsectarian organization serving Greater Washington, D.C., has an immediate F/T position for a Job Coach/Job Development Specialist for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in its Fallsgrove/Rockville, MD location. Requirements: Experience working with people with disabilities, especially those who are deaf and hard of hearing and may have other disabilities. Provide work readiness training, job development and placement, job coaching to clients in 1:1 and group settings. Must have great communication skills (ASL and speech), knowledge of workplace issues for people with disabilities, job development and placement skills, and group instruction skills. BA or MA/MS in vocational rehabilitation, special education, psychology or related or minimum of 3 years experience in the field. Requires willingness to flex hours at times.
