Description: 

 

The PT Finance Associate will:     

  • Process accounts payable transactions for Federation including review of cost center charges and determination of cost center charges, as appropriate.
  • Maintain and process monthly recurring payables
  • Perform month-end close of accounts payable system including reconciliation of accounts payable subsidiary ledger to general ledger.
  • Reconcile Prepaid Expenses Account
  • Reconcile allocation payables
  • Maintain depreciation schedule and post depreciation monthly journal
  • Reconcile receivable accounts and prepare monthly bills for agencies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in high volume AP/AR
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Computer Savvy
  • Experience with computerized financial systems
  • Accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Strong appreciation for the confidential nature of Federation work
